Social Media Coordinator
Social Media Coordinator APPLY NOW
About the Role
Geometry is growing — and we’re looking for a Social Media Coordinator who lives and breathes community, storytelling, and thoughtful planning. This role is responsible for helping Geometry show up consistently and meaningfully across our social channels by planning content, coordinating cross-functional needs, and nurturing our digital community with care.
This position is ideal for someone who loves to organize, schedule, engage, and make people feel seen. You’ll partner closely with the Creative & Marketing Director and our brand team to ensure every post, comment, and DM reflects our tone, our products, and the soul of the Geometry brand. You’ll help bring content to life — and while some content creation will be part of your role, your primary responsibility is managing the calendar, posting, engaging, and keeping the community thriving.
If you’re the type who naturally jumps into the comments, enjoys helping customers, and understands how social storytelling builds long-term brand trust, this role was built for you.
What You’ll Do
Planning, Coordination & Posting
- Coordinate and maintain the weekly and monthly social content calendar across Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and YouTube.
- Schedule and post daily content with precision, accuracy, and perfect timing.
- Work closely with the Creative Director and brand team to plan ahead for launches, campaigns, and seasonal moments.
- Track incoming content assets and organize them for easy use (UGC, creators, internal shoots).
- Ensure every post aligns with brand tone, values, and visual standards.
Community Engagement & Frontline Support
- Serve as the digital “host” of the Geometry community — responding to comments, DMs, shares, and tags with warmth, clarity, and helpfulness.
- Proactively nurture our audience by initiating conversations, celebrating customer posts, and supporting those who ask questions about products or prints.
- Identify repost opportunities and coordinate with the creative team when approvals are needed.
- Monitor brand mentions and help the team understand what the community is saying, loving, or asking for.
- Build relationships with loyal customers, creators, and superfans — becoming a trusted presence they look forward to engaging with.
Content Support
- Assist the creative team by capturing simple content (lo-fi videos, basic product clips, UGC-style moments) when needed.
- Help coordinate with UGC creators, influencers, and ambassadors to gather assets that fit upcoming content plans.
- Provide input on what trends or community conversations we should explore, without chasing trends that aren’t on brand.
Reporting & Insights
- Track weekly and monthly metrics across platforms — saves, shares, comments, reach, community growth, and sentiment.
- Communicate engagement highlights and community feedback to the leadership team.
- Bring forward insights about performance, emerging opportunities, or recurring community questions.
Brand Stewardship
- Maintain an elevated, aligned visual and storytelling presence across all social interactions.
- Ensure Geometry shows up with humility, warmth, and purpose — always adding value to the community.
What You Bring
- 2–3+ years experience managing social media for a brand or agency (or equivalent hands-on experience).
- A strong understanding of Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, YouTube, and native platform tools.
- Excellent organizational skills — you thrive with planning, calendars, and clear workflows.
- Confidence engaging with customers and handling DMs/comments professionally, warmly, and on brand.
- Strong writing skills that match brand tone, and the ability to communicate clearly and kindly.
- A visual eye and familiarity with how content should look and feel (even if you’re not the primary creator).
- Ability to shoot simple UGC-style content when needed.
- A proactive mindset — you see what needs to be done and do it with care.
- Bonus: Experience with lifestyle, home, design, or DTC brands.
What You’ll Gain
- A meaningful role on the front lines of the Geometry community.
- The opportunity to learn from and collaborate closely with creative and marketing leadership.
- A chance to help shape how Geometry shows up daily across our digital presence.
- Real ownership in organizing, planning, and elevating our social systems and community experience.
- Growth opportunities into Social Media Manager, Community Manager, or Content Lead over time.
