About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Visual Manager to join our Retail Team at our store located at City Creek Center in Salt Lake City, Utah to support selling, service and operations of the store with an emphasis on merchandising and display to achieve an inspiring and dynamic visual experience for the customer. This role is critical in driving customer engagement, increasing sales, and supporting the brand in executing visual and promotional plans effectively. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to team development and operational excellence.  

What You’ll Do

Brand Experience 

  • Act as a brand ambassador and reflect the company values 
  • Partner with the leadership team on the creation of an engaging visual experience 
  • Involve entire team in selling and visual initiatives that enhance the customer experience 
  • Encourage the team to build lasting relationships through personalized service, product recommendations, and connecting with the customer 
  • Take a forward-thinking approach to the customer experience through in-store marketing, merchandising and display to create a compelling store environment 

Leadership and Team Management

  • Train the team on store processes, merchandise placement, and standards
  • Guide the team to prioritize the customer service and styling recommendations
  • Participate as the manager-on-duty by driving engagement throughout the store through communication, adaptability, and fostering a collaborative selling environment
  • Exhibit strong decision-making and multi-tasking capabilities

Visual and Business Operations

  • Lead the planning, execution, and maintenance of visual merchandising displays and floor sets.
  • Manage purchase orders for new collections and replenishment inventory
  • Ensure product placement, signage, and displays reflect company standards and marketing directives.
  • Design and support in updating signage and imagery as seasonally needed.
  • Collaborate with retail and operations teams to align merchandising strategies with business goals.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stock teams to ensure products are properly stocked and replenished.
  • Analyze sales trends and make data-driven decisions to optimize product positioning and merchandising.
  • Assist in planning and executing promotional campaigns, product launches, and seasonal resets.
  • Conduct regular walk-throughs to assess merchandising effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of the sales floor and stock areas.
  • Assist in creating merchandising guides and tips for seasonal collections to be distributed to wholesale partners.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating closely with a team
  • 2+ years Visual Merchandising and Leadership experience
  • Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the store including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
